Better cleaning with less effort
Copper sponges are effective against burnt-on grime, yet gentle on your stainless steel cookware. The fine copper wires scrub away food residues with less effort than a brush, and because copper is softer than steel, the sponges are gentler on the surface compared to steel wool. At the same time, the twisted copper wires do not prick the palm of your hand when you use the sponges – and they are both rust-free and more durable than ordinary scouring sponges.
They are manufactured in the Netherlands and come in a set of two. The copper sponges are easy to use: simply wet them, scrub, and leave them to air-dry once the job is done. If they need freshening up, you can machine wash them at 60 degrees in a laundry bag – and then they’re ready to tackle the washing-up the next time food scraps have stuck to the pan.
