Five things you can use your grater for

A good grater is essential in every kitchen and serves many different purposes when you cook.

Perhaps you most often use your grater for grating carrots, cucumbers, or cheese. Regardless of the purpose, it is important that it is sharp and non-slip, so you don't get hurt.

Our ultra-sharp folding grater in stainless steel has three grating surfaces: fine, medium, and coarse.

And here are five ideas for what you can use it for:

1. Carrots

This probably won't surprise you - but nonetheless, carrots (and other root vegetables) deserve a place on the list.

The coarse side of the grater is perfect for carrot salad, carrot cake - or perhaps in your ragù alla bolognese with a stalk of celery, which of course can also be handled with the grater.

2. Nutmeg

The fine grating surface is ideal for nutmeg.

The hard surface of nutmeg makes it difficult to grate on most box-shaped graters - but not when you have a razor-sharp grater!

So it's no problem to grate nutmeg for the perfect béchamel sauce.

With the foldable grater, you get the functionality of a traditional box-shaped grater - combined with the easy storage and cleaning you know from a handheld grater.

And as a bonus, you get better stability, thanks to the non-slip feet.

3. Chocolate

When your sweet tooth needs to be satisfied, the grater comes to your rescue again.

Here you can use both the coarse grating surface for the perfect chocolate cake, or use the medium-fine one if you need to top your tiramisu with a fine layer of chocolate.

4. Parmesan - and other hard cheeses

There are many good hard cheeses that naturally deserve to be appreciated.
When the cheese is grated finely, the flavours are dispersed, so you achieve maximum flavour.

Use the fine grating surface when parmesan is to be grated over a bowl of cacio e pepe - or other good pasta dishes.

Need to grate the cheese coarsely? No problem - your new grater can handle both.

5. Citrus

You have certainly used lemon in your cooking countless times. Lemon works well in both savoury and sweet cooking - but if you throw away the lemon peel, then you are making a huge mistake.

Grate lemon and lime zest with the fine grating surface.
Remember only to grate the outermost part of the peel, which contains the good fragrant flavour. The white part is bitter.

Of course, always unsprayed and organic.

Here is the only grater you need

Our ultra-sharp folding grater in stainless steel has 3 grating surfaces: fine, medium, and coarse.

The A-frame design allows for easy and stable grating, while the rubber feet prevent it from sliding. The edges of the grater are cut with a laser, making them incredibly sharp compared to traditional stamped graters.

The clever foldable grater is practical when you store it in the kitchen drawer after use, or when you need to clean the grater easily.

Perfect for all five tasks described here on the page - and many more.
